I realize they actually aren't valve cover's ,but the black plastic thing's that say lotus in the engine bay. Wanted to the in red crinckle paint. Anyone know were to purchase. Can only find black!

I think most folks around here have either painted the pieces themselves, or had a body shop do it for them.
I'm still up in the air about what color to do mine.

Thank's for the tip. Paintscratch say's they can make it up. Just waiting for price etc.

I used krylon fusion paint. Heat resistant and wears well. Washes off easily too.

Was waiting for paintscratch to get back to me , so I just wandered into auto zone today. It seem's they were selling out of red wrinkle paint as it was not a good seller. They had 3 cans @ $ 0.02 per can! Color is very close. I can't believe the last time I ever bought anything for 2 cent's and it worked.

It will probably work fine. If it doesn't stick well though, try repainting with Krylon Fusion paint as a first layer, followed by the red wrinkle. Some paints don't stick well to plastic, the Fusion is made to stick.
