Weight off the Rear Affects Balance?

Interior Exterior

Q:
So looking at all the easy weight savings mods around...
Rear Panel Eliminator
Lightweight Battery
New Wheels (usually saves more weight off the rear than the front).
New Lightweight Exhaust
All of these take weight away from the car's rear, as opposed to balancing it out between front and rear.
Anyone concerned about front/rear balance of the car?
A:
Yes, but it seems to be more effective to be concerned about opposing corner balance than straight front to rear balance. Ie front left plus rear right = front right plus rear left.

sort of a 50/50 in an X across the car. I am trying to reach that with a 40/60 front to rear.
A:
Taking weight off the rear is good...you won't be able to take off so much that you will throw the car off (within the normal things you will be doing). When I was at Lucent last time and got corner balancing the car was around 40/60-ish - at least the weight isn't behind the rear wheel and on our asses like a 911 (but that's not necessarily a bad thing either)
A:
I figure I've removed well over 50 pounds off the rear.
Not to worry.....strip away.
