just wondering if anyone here has had custom leather work done in their elise or exige? talking new skins for the door panel and seats. i am going to be getting a new car to replace my totalled one but don't like the black interior. so i will take it out and let someone go off on them! maybe ostrich inserts.

Mickopelak has the exige seats and Hethyl trim shop goodies in his Elise, door panels, consol, etc and it looks amazing. Green, black and carbon leather with contrasting stitching- it's a huge improvement over stock. I recall the predicted price being quite resonable for the level of quality received.

I just had some components done by Lotus factory trim shop, they can do just about anything. I ordered through www.hangar111.com
They have a price list on their website, exc quality work judging by Mick's stuff that I've seen.

I got the trim shop to do my door inserts in yellow perfed leather. They also made up a set of the Lotus sport floor mats with the Lotus sport/car/logo on it, it's enroute as we speak.

Very nice. I have a biscuit interior and I didn't think there was anything I could do with it but this looks great. Is that out of the catalogue?

I don't really like biscuit either, but it's a step in the right direction. I am pretty sure I saved the picture off EliseTalk somewhere. I think the guy just had a local shop do the work.
I just remembered. This was done at ParkPlaceLtd, WA. Same as the Blue Smurf nightmare. See the similarity now?
