It seems that there would be a strong demand for a tinted lexan or plastic hard top. It could have a headliner that snaps or velcroes onto place. It would really open up the closed top driving experience. What do you guys think?

I used to have a polycarbonate Lexan top on my delSol - made by Ameripol (they also make Corvette Lexan tops).
I'm sure that if someone donated a softtop mechanism and a hardtop for fitting something could be fabricated.
I'd personally love one - make mine dark titanium tint to match.

Aren't they fairly heavy?

My stock delSol hard top was 24 lbs. - the Ameripol polycarbonate one was 17 lbs. It reused every bit of the stock hardware, except for the exterior steel panel.
I'm guessing it would still weigh in at 14-17 lbs.
BTW, missed you last night at HPT RW. My dad was there as well to partake in the heat...
