Need update on widebody rear clam availability

Interior Exterior

Q:
Someone just ran into the back of my elise when it was parked in the parking lot. yeay.
While trying to turn a negative into a positive, I figured I would check into the availability of a widebody rear clam. There were rumors a year ago from forcedfed and ragnorak, and andy at stickercity mentioned to me about 5 months ago that he was also working on one. anyone know of any shipping or iminently shipping widebody kits?
Obviously, I would love one that looked similar to the one off exige widebody that Lotus sport made for an asian customer.

GAH THAT SUCKS!! all the widebody clams I have seen are "kits" not an actual clam... another parking lot accident
I will see if I can track down a link to the kit I saw... someone linked me to it on another forum..althuogh i have seen it posted here as well...

I called Andy at Stickercity, and he quoted me an approximate availability of april 2007. his target price will be the same as a lotus supplied rear clam. he wants it to be 3.5" wider on each side. (i.e. the final design is not finalized)
I spoke to forcedfed and they said they have no plans to make a widebody. They said that Seibon was showing a rear clam last year at a show, but their website does not list anything.
I tried calling ragnorakracking but at 12:30PM in the afternoon, their voicemail said they were not in.

Wouldn't it look weird if just the rear clam was wider, why not make the front too? Also, what about the carbon benetec front/rear clams from www.sector111.com , I thought they were wider too?
A:
now it's time to change it to exige rear clam.

Careful what you ask for, ZTEC. I was stopped--waiting to make a left onto John Young Pkwy--when I got crunched by an 18-y/o kid with only $10K insurance. Getting it fixed at Ultimate Lamorghini of off the 434. Imagine what that's going to cost. I'm not having fun.
In fact, I'm a little worried; since I've been driving this rental mini-van, I'm demonstrating very odd behavior--and I can't explain any of it!

I've been:

1) ...finding myself parking very NEAR to stores, and my work, etc. -- really CLOSE to other cars

2) ...I haven't washed or waxed a vehicle in weeks

3) ...buying regular gas (cheep too)

4) ...hesitating to merge into traffic--waiting for a spot that's 'safe'

5) ...avoiding eye contact and flirting with really hot women in really hot cars

6) ...avoiding eye contact and flirting with really hot women in s#!* cars

7) ...what-the-f#<%--I'm getting no action, what so ever

8) ...loosing my hearing? I don't hear that nasty exhaust when I punch it in the toll booths and underpasses

9) ...stopped punching it through toll booths and underpasses

10) ...(most disturbing of all) driving the SPEED LIMIT!
Here's to you NOT getting rearended!
