Exige-style engine cover for Elise?

Interior Exterior

Q:
I wonder if anyone (custom fiberglass manufacturer) has considered having an Exige-style engine lid cover for the Elise made. In other words, the existing Elise lid would be removed, and a special lid would be made that fits over the existing sail panels and blends into the rear.
Probably too mich to ask for... but might be interesting for those wanting to supercharge or turbocharge their engine and have no room for an intercooler...
I know the "hinge" might be an issue... but why not put the hinge in the rear and have the lid flip towards the back?
I think it's possibly quite doable...
Might be an iteresting exercise...
I wonder how far off an Exige lid is?

i seem to recall someone mentioning that the body panels can be swapped from one car to the other. so, you could redo the whole mid-rear-sections of the car to achieve this.
could anyone confirm this?

Someone photoshopped an S2 Elise with an S1 exige/ plexiglass style rear. I'm sure it would be possible with some Exige parts and a good body shop.
