I have noticed some corrosion on the chrome aspects of the front badge. I've tried washing, scrubbing etc... and it won't come off. I haven't used any harsh chemical to clean that area, only car soap and wax. Any suggestions on what it may be or how I might remove it. It looks to be a whitish/yellowish film only on the chrome. Thanks in advance.

I guess we'd have to find if it's really chrome. The old ones had chrome and inlay and no plastic. Chrome should respond to a mild abrasive/polish.
