Do a search on ebay for: stalks elise. I bought mine from the seller 1263e. He sells the polished and brushed styles. 35 quid. Highly recommended.

I remember reading a thread from a guy that had those stalks installed. He said they had to hack saw off the stock plastic stalks and attach the new ones over the nubs of the former stalks. This was a dealer install by the way.

Not quite though. If you had a problem you could always buy a set of plastic stalks from Europe. They are OEM on the Vauxhall Corsa, Astra, and Vectra which are a bit more common than the sports cars. They don't cost that much... about10-15 quid maybe.
