Interior Exterior
Q:
Has anyone noticed any fading spots in the leather seats?
I know this is kinds pointless without the picture, but I still wanted to post the question.
I have the black leather...and I have a spot on the bottom that is turning blue.
It is not a wear issue....and nothing spilled on it.
I will post some pics soon.
A:
Could the blue be from your jeans rubbing off on the leather? Just a thought. I've seen this happen on Biscuit and Magnolia interior cars.

I think I know the cause

I thought it might have been the blue....but the seats are black.
It is hard to make something black turn blue.
besides, I have a dress code at work.....no jeans.
It looks like the dye of the leather is turning blue.....Like it wasn't
colored properly.

I was going to ask about this leather fading, too. I've got a big spot where my head hits the top of the seat. I don't use any "products" on my hair, either. All I use to clean my hair is Prell, yeah, the shampoo that rips dirt right off the hair follicle.
Anyhow, I think I'm going to get some leather cleaner and see if I can't fix the spot where my head rests.

I know I dont yet...but do you have pictures?
I am going by Scottsdale Lotus tomorrow.
I will ask Andy if he heard anything yet.
I doubt it though.

I went out to look and see if I could get a pic, but it's too dark outside now. I will try out some leather protectant, and if that doesn't help, I'll take a pic. Most leather seats I have had eventually develop cracks and spots where the head rests, but I've only had this car for a very few months. Seems a bit fast to wear so quickly. I know, I know, .
