Q:
Well guys, I'm in a bind and need to raise, oh an extra 7 grand or so by the end of the month. lol. Any little bit helps, right?
I'm going to do a special on race #'s this week. Get a pair of standard 3 digit race #'s up to 13" tall for $25 a pair. Regular self adhesive vinyl. Basic block font or in an oval with #'s cut out. (I can do plenty of other fonts but will have to raise the price if a lot of art time or proofs are needed)
or
A pair of static cling #'s. Same style for $50. You choice of color on clear static background.
Whichever route you go- $5.50 for shipping.
Sound like a deal? Drop me a PM.
Or if you need anything else, banners, magnetics, custom work, etc. Let me know as well.

Keith-
Tell me, the static cling ones, they are multi time users ? If so, how long do they last vs the vinyl which as we know, if you're really careful you can get a few uses out of but typically are a one time user...
Is there "badness" with going with vinyl vs static ?
Thanks...

I prefer vinyl, it holds up better, looks better, works better. Unfortunately it's a one shot deal or you drive with you numbers on the street.
I'm not a huge fan of static but started doing it because there was so much demand on the board for it. The static is reusable, but it's very dependent on meticulous care to keep them clean and store them flat. Some people put them on the on their shop fridge or washing machine, etc to keep them stored in nice condition. Also with static you should do a wet application and give enough time before you race to be througholy dry.
In my opinion static is fine for autocrossing, but for a road course I'd rather see people run "real" numbers. More dirt, more speed, more time on the track.
There is also the option of going with the low tack "reuseable" vinyl. Again with great care to keep them clean and store them flat you can get several uses. On this board static is much more popular, and I do not stock reuseable, but it's no problem to get. Color availability is limited to pretty much primary colors. I would need to check pricing again but probably won't be able to do it as cheap. In these unpopular films I am often forced to buy an entire roll, so oftentimes I'm stuck buying 30 feet of film (the smallest roll) when I only need about 4.

two-color ie. outlined??? Thanks , Pip

I can do just about anything. Two colors, outline shadow, metallics, color changing, leaf, reflective, etc etc. Really the only issue is that I can't do something that is going to take much more time and materials for the same price, but I'm sure you understand.

Bump. Thanks to all that ordered. I got a little behind but will be wrapping up all paid for to date orders tomorrow (Sun) and shipping Monday. I was even up at 6 this morning (on a Sat!) to get a couple of the 2 and 3 color sets out the door for their races this upcoming week.
If anyone else wants in on this, I will be making vinyl tomorrow and also have time early in the week.

Thanks guys, all paid for orders have been shipped as of this morning. (well except yours Charlie- but I did just send over the proof you requested)
And Mike, the midengineedsports cars series #'s came out spectacular. Thank you for letting me make them. Please post photos when you install them. I made a couple extras, I might put on my car just for a few photos. Actually thinking of modifying the center with a little advertisement for my business and running them for a week or so.
Thanks Again,
Keith
