Q:
So I've noticed that my driver's side seat creaks and crackles while on the track. Has anybody else experienced this?
A:
babak, yes the driver's seat on my Exige creaks and pops at times...usually when cornering. I understand (per Lotus of South Bay) there is a remedy involving the seat bracket, but I have not had it done yet (so, I don't know what the fix is ).
A:
Have you (or anyone else, i.e. stereo installer) ever removed and reinstalled the seats? Make certain that your bolts are in the correct places, as they are different sizes. Incorrect bolt placement will lead to squeeky seats under stressful conditions.
A:
I had a similar sound and realized that it was the seat belt holster (the part the metal seat belt buckle fastens into) squeeking. The seat was fine. I just ignore it and accelerate harder.

I had a creaking sound and it turned out to be the padding. The pad is held in by plastic "plugs" that had popped out of their holes. I punched them back in and all is well again.

babak,
When I took mine to Rothrock in late June for all the usual factory fixes
(shifter recall, etc.), I mentioned that the driver's seat creaked even though I had tightened all the fasteners in sight (but did not remove the seat to check the tracks-to-seatpan bolts). They said that there had been a change
in supplier for the seat tracks, and some of the early sets weren't quite right
(shaped wrong?). They will be replaced under warranty when the new parts come in. I assume they are coming from England since it's been three weeks and no call. Have your dealer take a look.

It's the seat rails/sliders. My Exige came delivered in Feb. with a creaking/popping driver's seat from day one. Don at NE diagnosed the problem as the seat rails. New ones were installed and no more noise.

Thanks all, I'm greatful for the suggestions. The seat was tightened by the dealer don't think it was removed. I have thought it to be in the padding as well. I'll double check the fasteners. I'll call the dealer about the rail changes as well.
Thanks again.

Yes the seat belt latch can do it too. The orange button topped thing that the belt snaps into. The unit can rub against the leather of the nearby seat. Some leather glop or similar can quiet it down.
