I've bought a couple for the Elise but they don't fit very well. The small is too short and the medium is too wide. The Elise windshield seems to be narrower and taller than the shapes of the typical shade.
Has anyone found one that is a good fit? And how would you keep it in place without the sun visors?

FWIW I've been using the Sector111 ShowerCap as an external sunscreen. Works great with the top on or off, and I can definately tell a temperture difference when it's used.

The parts department (SVAG) where I bought the car gave me a screen that was specifically made for the Elise/Exige. It fits the windshield perfectly, letting no light inside. It had the name of the company that manufactured it on it. I cannot remember what it said. Maybe someone else who received one knows, but there is a screen that fits perfectly. If someone else doesn't post, I 'll try to post the information this weekend.

Big 2nd on the HeatShield. I've had them for six cars and they have always been a perfect fit. On the Elise, the mirror tends to hold the top in place. It is such a good fit, it really just stays up on its own.

Guys, there's no need to see a pic. This is the only custom fit sun shade for the Elise. Mine fits perfectly and others have bought them based on my experience. What alternatives do we have for the Elise? The Heatshield or some generic one that's way too big.
I have a Heatshield for my Passat, Ram, and Elise. Each application is different and each Heatshield fits perfectly. A Heatshield and tinted windows do wonders with summer heat.

I have one of these. It rocks. I can actually touch the shifter in my car now after the car has been sitting in the sun all day. It nicely rolls up, and easily stashes behind the driver's seat.
It's made a big difference in interior temps after sitting all day.

I just bought the medium Axiss cheapo. $5 at Wal-Mart. Fits fine.
