Remember, vinyl or not, when removing the stripes after several years on the car, it will create some kind of color fading, with the paint covered by the stripes is darker than the one not covered by the stripes.
Exactly why I voted "it depreciates" rather, it gives the consumer a reason to depreciate it and although people will use any excuse to lower the price, what you don't want to do is give them an excuse to lower the price...although, inevitably they will. Anyways, I'm with the census of "stripe it! and who gives what people say or think"
