As any one had this happen to there car, i picked up my car about 1 month ago, and i have cleaned my windows 5 or 6 times and a light film will form on the windows a day or so later. So what is this?

So why do all elise cars do this, and what can i do to fix it?
A:
It's called "offgassing" and comes from the vinyls/plastics used in dashboards, etc. It'll eventually slow/stop. If you've got to park in the sun, keep a clean MF towel handy - it'll wipe right off. All cars do it to some extent.

Also, make sure when you wipe your window you're not just relocating the oil residue. A light soap solution should clean it off well and remove it as well. It does get better and eventually stops. Think of it as a sigh of relief as the car settles into its home.

I don't seem to have this problem at all! May be because i never use the AC and the top is off most of the times.

Heat more than AC seems to be the culprit, it happened most when I was parked in the sun. Although leaving the top off probably helps. I haven't seen it since I got the car to Alaska, but in the Oklahoma summer last year I was cleaning the inside of the window every day.

I haven't tried it yet, but my mechanic (who also owns an Elise) said to RainX the inside of the windshield after cleaning it well and that stuff will wipe off super easy.

True - I've been using Stoner's Invisible Glass when I wipe it down at home, (you can pick it up pretty much at any parts store). A little goes a long way.
No sweat, GREG'S ELISE. We southerners seem to get it worse than our northern friends and it can cause some horrible glare when driving towards the sun.

It gets better after a while. I keep a rag under the passenger seat and wipe it off. Also you might consider a car cover while outdoors...California Car Cover in Los Angeles can send you one right away...
