Hey guys need your input and pictures if you have any. I am wanting to add stripes to my Lotus Elise, Hardtop, Black Diffuser, Black LSS Wheels, Black Gas Door. Some options I am considering.
Black no pinstripe
Black with black pinstripe
Black with red pinstripe and red calipers
Gray with black pinstripe like HRM model that sold awhile back
BRG with black pinstripe
Any thoughts at all or pics would be much appreciated!!!!

i bet the black with red pinstrip and calipers idea would look awesome... some of the photoshop gurus on here could probably put something together pretty quickly to give you an idea.

You should also consider something really original like yellow stripes (inverse of my car)..or one thick off centered blue one...or white, or chrome. Otherwise if you want to be all about the bidness go simple black stripes, red calipers.

silver with grey stripes is stunning in person. if i ever get an exige i will not have to decide what color it will be -- this is it!

Dark gray stripes, definitely.
I would steer clear of BRG stripes; I believe that to really look good, the color of the stripe needs to appear elsewhere in the car, it needs to be part of the overall scheme, not a tacked on, out of place color. The gray is similar to silver so would look good. Black could be OK as the tires and grills are black, though would look better with black wheels.

I got these through Sticker City. They're dark metalic grey. I'm thrilled with them! good luck in your choice.

I decided, before I even had the car, that if I ever did stripes on my AS, they'd be dark grey - it looks choice!

Great input guys. I am leaning towards black stripes with no pinstripe and red calipers. All bidness!!! Although I have to admit that gray strip combo looks awesome. Keep the suggestions coming. Thanks for the help.
