Q:
Check out what I found at a dealer in England. This is a factory option trim package in a 111R, oops, Elise R....
A:
Yeah, the Lotus Factory Trim Shop can do some pretty incredible work...

Mick, you dirty rotten scoundrel . How did you go about doing that? Those seats look great. I love how they feel as well (if they're the exige seats.) Much easier on my back. Do share please.
A:
Mick, did you have to drill holes for the door panel screws?

They are the factory Exige seats, with custom leather covers. They are quite comfy.

I didn't install them, Lotus of Atlanta did, but they didn't mention anything about drilling extra holes. I was under the impression that they were direct swaps for the previous door panels.

Yeah, if you look at your out-of-the-box door panel pix, there aren't any holes for the screws yet. Probably drilled a pilot hole from the back of the panel using the existing hole.

Dammit, Mick, I was perfectly happy with my interior until I saw yours. So, if you don't mind, what was your cost for those yummy interior bits? The way the leather matches the racing green is outstanding.
