Q:
Second photo shows hose coverings I got
from www.cableorganizer.com . They have a
bunch of colors in various sizes.

Those last two shots look like the bird is spreading it's wings. That's one yello car.
A:
How many horsepower do you get from those stickers?
A:
there was a porsche named the yellowbird.

I was gonna say the same thing and to think that he posted the other day that his car felt down on power! Just slap on a few more poorly aligned stickers!
Not a fan of those hose covers either...
A:
Hey, where are the Motorsilk stickers?? You are losing hp...
That is one gorgeous bird! Love the wings..

Yeah, I was expecting to see a Porsche RUF CTR when I clicked on this thread

Hey Ridge man were did you get that roof?
A:
How many horsepower do you get from those stickers? How much do they weigh?
A:
not to flame, are you actually sponsored by yokohama, et al?
A:
Hey Ridge man were did you get that roof? That's the gull wing offered by Hunting Ridge Motors - AKA
Lotus of Greenwich. They are actually made in England at
a company called Production Glassfibre with Mark Starr now
being the only U.S. distributor of them. Sector 111 did offer
them in the past but I don't believe they do any longer. Even
when they did, you had to find your own paint-body/installation
shop. HRM handles the whole 'enchalada' (paint-to-install) if
you're local to Connecticut. Otherwise they can send the painted
unit to a bodyshop of your choice.

Not a fan of those hose covers either... The value of 'bling' is in the eyes of the 'bling holder'.
If I want to look at 'non-bling' black hoses I need only
lift the hood on my '87' Montero. The stickers accurately
depict parts of the car and when The Ridgeman steps
out from under his gull wing roof, wearing either his logo'd
Team Lotus vest or jacket, coupled with special printed
L O T U S cap, he is 'definately' considered equal to any
rock star by his adoring public. P.S. - I don't believe the
stickers add more than 30 to 40 hp.

Very nice! The gullwing roof looks great

Very nice! The gullwing roof looks great Makes getting in and out so much less difficult. Then, I can
always pop them out and put them in the trunk whenever I
want sky over my head. Takes about a minute ...or two at
the most.

not to flame, are you actually sponsored by yokohama, et al? I expect financial remuneration from all my sticker corporations
to arrive soon. I'll let the Motor Silk people slide since I' ll be
paid nicely for attending their upcoming focus group session.

Same here.
I'm a bigger fan of making the hoses look like this - if enough of us are interested, we can probably get Samco to do a kit.

A:
Covers are bad mmkay? Covers hold in heat. Heat makes parts wear out quicker. Bad.
Oh and those stickers...
A:
I must agree, stickers are better suited to lunch boxes and ford pinto's. To each his own, but I'm not a fan. Nice top though!

Me too. There is only one Yellowbird, and it speaks German.
