The cover that goes over the rear latch is coming apart. The foam that is glued to the plastic has basically failed. Just curious what glue people might recommend. I was thinking of using some 3m apolhestry glue.

I used some weatherstrip cement. Seems to be holding up fine after a half dozen installs.

I had this issue on both side covers; I just used Liquid Nails Perfect Glue #1 (similar to Gorilla Glue) to glue it back together without any issues.

Dont mess around.
Get some 3M #5200 Marine Adhesive.
You'll find it at marine supply stores. Comes in black and white, fast and slow cure speeds.
Home Depot may have it. Our local one carries the white fast cure. Black would be better for the top application.
