Yeh I removed a damaged piece from my car no problems. The car is dark blue and I parked in in the sun for a while and that was plenty warm enough to peel it off pretty easily.

Could it be that maybe the person removing the Star Shield is not letting the film heat up enough in order to get a clean removal?
