Interior Exterior
Q:
I'm surethis has been asked before, but I'm new, and this is my first post, so I figured I get one dumb question. Are the new side vents on the Exige (black in US, color keyed in UK) swappable to the Elise? I think the vents on the Elise look a little cheesy. The local salesperson told me every part (aside form the doors) of the two cars is different, so I'm not sure if it can be done. And I haven't seen anyone do it either. Ideas? Opinions?

Welcome to Elisetalk. Don't forget that we have a search function.
I did a search for you and this is what I found:

here you go, check it out !

Wow. $749 just doesn't seem worth it. Better to just buy the Exige.
A:
Well im hoping to do this.
Get this combo.
Front grilles

Radiator / Rear grilles

And the side grilles

I am just worry that the mesh from elise usa and sector 111 wont match up and it will look funky.
As for the 749 price yea its pricey but remember you are paying for the carbon fiber alot as well. Click the installation instructions for some more pics of it installed.

There are other solutions...but none that are both good and cheap, at least that I've come across.
The mesh versus the grilles are one of the big things that differentiate the Exige and Elise, so it kind of makes sense that you have to pay (one way or the other) to bridge that gap.
A:
So the exige body panels and the elise body panels are different? Why do they look almost identical to me?
A:
It might be worth noting that they are black on all Exiges, sold in the US, England, or anywhere else. The new Exige S, which isn't currently available in the US has them painted in body color along with the splitter and spoiler.
