Help! Has anybody installed the shifter gate item? Having problems -no instructions! Thanks CB

I did not, but got instructions while talking with the guy at the dealership who did. (I was thinking of getting one) The trick is you must remove the shifter's leather cover, attach it to the gate, then attach the gate to the housing.
I have not done this, but it made some sense to me. Of course that means completely removing that housing from your car.

You mean I need to re and re the console? Seems to be interferance with the plastic /rubber piece inside-do I get rid of this?CB

Re and re? You have to remove the console and pull the boot insode the perimeter of the gate.
