Anyone elses visor's vibrate at idle?

Interior Exterior

Q:
Mine do enough to be annoying. I'm debating on removing them all together. Pending that, is there anything that can calm the vibration at idle?
A:
visors? what visors?!?

A:
We don't need no stinking visors.
A:
Mine dont vibrate at idle, but if you have them touching the window at all they will cause a squeak that sounds like it's coming from the dash. They just slide onto their shafts, so maybe a good hit to firmly seat them is all that you need.
A:
Just pull them off the windsheild a hair and it will be all over.
A:
Yeah - I know, who needs them... But, I think they actually do come in handy occasionally - like driving into the sunset...
Anyway, Fox Valley finally fixed my driver's side visor - it wasn't staying up at all, always falling into the down position, swaying with the breeze. Took them three trys to get it right. Prior to that I had it stuck to the windshield with black velcro...
A:
If it's an 05 car you could also try raising the idle RPM a bit...
A:
Do they only rattle with the AC on? We finally found my unbelievably loud metallic rattle but have not had time to fix it. The oil lines in the passenger sill rattle like crazy once the car is warmed up and the ac compressor is on. Apparently they are in contact with the frame instead of having foam around them. It is like a tiny jack hammer sound.
A:
Rob,
Are you sure thats not your subwoofer rattling the visor?
BTW, if you drive at all during sunset/sunrise you might want to leave it on until you're certain you don't need it. There are times on my commute (especially heading over hills) that its a requirement.
Of course, I even had to add a flip down extension for my 5'2" wife.
Oh, and BTW, my visors on my 2005 don't vibrate at all! Neither does my 2nd oil cooler, or my touring pkg power window switches. :-)
