Q:
Before I wait too long and do the inevitable damage, has anyone found any guards for our doors? The generic fit all type don't work. Our doors have a sharp outward angle that the generic won't conform too. Also our edges are thicker.
A:
I was thinking of using a thin strip of clear bra along that edge. I have some left over from my clear bra installation. And if it doesn't work, all I wasted was some time.

I don't remember where I saw it, but someone sells the clear stuff just for this purpose... already cut into strips.
A:
stickerycity.com has them

Thanks. I can probably mooch some thick 3M stuff from my friend. It's used on the leading edge of helicopter blades. Better than nothing but a real edge guard would be nice. Need a molded urethane piece that would fit perfectly.
A:
Lotus sells the lead foil ones and Sector111 has the magnetic ones.
Both work great!
A:
Thanks. Lead foil? Never heard of that one. Especially hearing Lotus adding lead! I be calling Sector 111 later today.

Mike, don't do that. It was a joke. Lead.......magnetic.
I guess not a good enough one.
