Q:
I searched and couldn't find a relevant post. Does Star Shield or anyone else offer a precut film to cover the two removable panels right in front of the windshield? Thanks.

Invinca-shield has something: LINKY Looks to be $68.
A:
stickercity should be able to do that for you, www.stickercity.com

Heck if you're going to drop $68 bucks on film, just go the whole mile and get the CF ones from Sector 111. Only $1500 more

Geez Frank, 45 minutes ago you were tacking your boat in the bay, or are you still there on satellite? And yes, I am hitting the bottle right now

Armourfend patterns have pieces for the access panels. I have mine covered. Sam from Premier did the job and he removes those panels and wraps the film around them so the edges are underneath. There are no visible edges.
I have not dealt directly with Armourfend, so I'm not sure what they offer in terms of film vendors. Mine is done with VentureShield film which, unlike StarShield, does not have any orange peel.

The new kit that will be offered by Sector 111 will have coverage for these pieces.

Thanks for the info. I plan to attempt to install myself. If I was able to apply Lamnix to the headlight covers this should be simple since the panels are removable and fairly flat.

Good luck, I hear it's horrible to install. I'd like to hear how it turns out.

If the patterns are cut such that the film ends at the edges of the panels, it should not be too difficult, given what you've already accomplished. If the patterns are cut large enough to wrap around the panel to hide the edges, it adds a little difficulty. Mostly just takes more time, patience and judicious use of a heat gun.

You can get the same pieces from www.autoclearguard.com. He has the new 3M film which has almost no orange peel whatsoever. Much better than the old stuff!
