Q:
Guys-
Apart from the shift knob that sector111 has, what other options are there for the cars that have the updated shifter (M10 with set screw)?
TIA
-Pete
A:
I put on a Momo on top of the M10 adapter that came with the B&M shifter. No problems nor adaptors needed.
If anyone wants the large SumoBall I have a brand new one sitting in the box unopened. It's just too cold in CT for me to use it. I don't need frost bite while driving.
A:
The accessory pack from Lotus has a leather knob with the lotus badge inlaid in it. It also includes an ebrake handle and external gate.

That Momo looks perfect. I prefer that texture as well as insulation. Well done!

That Momo looks great. Did it thread on or does it use a set screw?

That was my first choice, but I believe the shift knob is for the older M8 shifters and won't fit on the updated shifters...but I could be wrong.

Has anyone installed the shift gate from Lotus? I purchased one for my wifes car and have some questions with regards to installation.
Does the gate go on over the leather shift gator? no interference problems?
Is there anything on the back end of the plate to hold it down? If not, what is the third rear screw for?
Thanks,
Al B.

Local Autoparts store.

CDOC.com has some nice choices from OMP, probably will get one of these
after I get the B&M installed.

Not the best shot, but it is a leather knob with the lotus emblem.

That is what I want, but I have the updated shifter, so that won't fit my car.

I have the same Lotus emblem leather knob on the OLD hexagonal shifter. Ya' mean when I get my shifter replaced under warranty/recall, the thread is different, and I won't be able to use my leather knob?
A:
Do any of you have an idea where I can get a wood gear shift knob?

It depends on whether you have the old shift knob size or the new. If you have the old one that is being recalled, then wait and you should be able to find a plethora of them at auto part stores and online.

I would be concerned that the reverse collar wouldn't be able to slide up under/in the bottom of the knob...
