I was reading the review on the Exige in Hemming's
Where they have a picture of the interior showing seats with passthrough eyelets for harness. Would these fit the Elise? I can't imagine why it wouldnt as the cockpit dimentions are the same. There is a picture of them on the Lotus website as well.

Meaning you unbolt the old and in with the new? I plan on converting the old seats into office chairs for the garage. A friend of mine has an old Martin-Baker seat out of an F-100 as an office chair. He claims to pull the ejection handles in the middle of boring meetings and act surprised when he doesn't shoot through the roof!

Oh yeah! I love the idea of converting the stock seats into chairs. One for the office and one for the garage would be sweet.
I agree that the Exige seats are much nicer and likely the best fit upgrades for us. If anyone finds out pricing and additional info that would be great.

That's probably the only way you could get them for a "reasonable" price. And I bet they would still be too expensive. And they don't come in red
