I like many of the features of the sector111 harness bar mount. Unfortunately the mount flexed and shook quite a bit with my larger Sony videocam. I added a cross brace which has done the trick.
A:
Good idea. What did you use to bond the brace to the bracket?
A:
I used a small machine screw to set the brace and JB weld on each end. I used a dremel to grind the ends of the screws flush with the mount. The brace was a 1/8 inch aluminum. It was easy to cut and bend for sizing.

Thanks for the info, mine would shake too much also and I have a very light camera too. I'll do the same come spring.
