...quoth the raven, "Nevermore"!
A new steady tapping has sprung up in (I think) the passenger door. Not a rattle, but a steady tapping - at maybe 2 HZ or so. It is not speed sensitive but you do have to be moving. It stops if you make a left turn and sometimes if you pound on the door panel (but only for a second or two). Bumpy roads, smooth roads, city streets, freeways - none of this matters. Anyone else seen/heard this? Simple fix is probably to remove the panel and have a passenger try to locate it while driving. But it is just odd that it happens at a steady rate regardless of any driving action (except left turns...). Thoughts?

I think it might be the plastic piece that goes around the wheel to stop rocks.
My car does it also and it drives me nuts. But mine kicks in after 60 MPH
