Regarding the license plate, there seems to be some kind of mixup at the DMV. I'm in the process of trying to figure it out.

Anything like my DMV problem? My Elise was registered as a "private motorcycle". I even had the tiny plate to stick on my car.

I got one somewhere, I think. I did have a picture of the registration with it. "Lotus Elise 'Private Motorcycle'" I had to drive the car up to show them it wasn't.

My DMV problem is that it isn't even in the system yet! So, I'm working on getting that all cleared up so I can receive my plates which I'm in no hurry to put on.
And yeah, you really need to post a pic or two with your Elise motorcycle!

Is there any difference in wind noise at high speeds?

I haven't noticed any more wind noise than before. Granted, wind noise has always been noticeable with this car.

Mirrors look good there. Not as bad as I thought.

Is visibility much better with these mirrors?
Edit: I just checked back at my old posts and it looks like I got an answer to this question once before. I'm just wondering how much bigger the mirrors are than stock and if you can change lanes with complete confidence after this upgrade.

I don't know if these are much bigger. I have the multivex mirrors on my OEM mirrors and I CAN change lanes with complete confidence. If these mirrors are convexed, then I'm sure they perform the same way.

Yes, these mirrors are convex. I never measured, but I think they are smaller than oem...well at least the base is for sure.
