I am sorry if this is common knowledge. I just got this 2005 lotus elise.
and i am going to get some parts for it. but i have no idea what model is my car. S1? S2? R4?
can anyone advise? any help is appreciated.

Are you in the US? If so you have the S2 with a toyota engine, also known as the Federal Elise.
If you are not in the US please provide more info!

Officially it's called the 111R

S1 and S2 refer to Series 1 and Series 2. If you live in the US and have a license plate on the car it is a Series 2
