Check it out. Actually it was a pair of articles called the "Monster vs. the Midget." The Monster was the Bentley Continental GTC. The Midget, of course, was the Elise. The author was definitely smitten with the Elise.

Interesting, I never knew the tranny was a Getrag. I'm half surprised it isn't an in-house Toyota item. I guess no-one is building their own anymore...

Nice article overall. However, speaking as an "old man," getting in and out isn't killing my already weak back. The car is my test for youthfullness. As long as I can get in and out without resorting to a crane, I can keep on enjoying the "dinky stick of dynamite."
