jack points

A&Q about Lotus

Q:
I popped the diffuser panel off today to access the B jack points while changing my oil. (Yes, I know I didn't need to do that, but I wanted to have a look around...) I thought it was a nice touch that the jack points were hand labelled with black magic marker. I love these cars!

Yes, I saw then on my Elise too, hand labelled with black magic marker. Maybe the same guy? lol!

Anyways, since you have the rear diffuser off I suggest pushing the heat shield just a bit away from the top of the muffler to avoid any chance to a rattle developing(muffler vibrating while idling and slightly touching heat shield). That was the culprit for my 'rear diffuser rattle'. The car has been quite after I drove it afterwards.

Speaking of interesting things found when removing things... back when I installed my intake, I removed my left rear wheel liner and found a piece of masking tape stuck inside the well with the name "Brian" written on it. I assume this was the name of someone that assembled my car and did this for fun. He probably put it there figuring it would be seen when someone went to change the air filter. The great part about this is that it is my first name too!

I also have a blue X stickers I believe... so I know where to put the hockey puck
