A&Q about Lotus

Q:
I agree. . . NOBODY in Europe drives in the left lane. It's reserved for passing only. An unspoken courtesy, if you will. Or maybe it's the law in some regions. . . .I can still understand RAYNMAN's logic, and I feel for the guy. When I ride my motorcyle, I always use the left lane because it is relatively safer (no merging traffic, etc. . .) But I also keep a good pace and move to the right whenever someone approached me from behind. It takes common sense, and being aware of your surroundings. . . .When I get my Elise though, I will not "linger" in the left lane, it's like you're a sitting duck. . . .I will probably upgrade the horn to a better, dual-air type quality. Fun ahead!

There is no way to use the left lane only for passing on congested freeways. The fact that you moved over for a faster car makes you 10 X better than 90% of the drivers out there. Cops see a fast car, assume you are driving fast and assume you have money.

Fun ahead! It IS the law in Germany. You can be ticketed for driving in the left lane. He wasn't in Germany at the time, however.

I usually go about 50mph faster then the speed limit in the fast lane. It should be fun when our paths cross,or collide should I say.

The left lane is for passing only!!! This should be taught when applying for a drivers license. Some "left-lane only" drivers actually hold up traffic & could be the cause of many an accident
