Hi Mark, yes a name from the past. We don't autox anymore. We were running >20 events a year when we were winning, and just wanted a change in our lives. I too had some issues with the suspension set up when we recieved the car. The shocks were set on full firm for both bump and rebound, and the tire pressures were 12# over reccomended settings. We were given no specs on the Ohlins, so I set them at a resonable comfort level. got a quick 1000 miles on the car so I could take it to log. The dealer gave me the wrong spec sheet, and it took all of the first day and part of the second before another E Sport owner gave me the correct starting set up. The car still pushed badly and tire temp profiles made me realize that a quick fix would not be possible with the limited tools I had with me. a quick check of the rear toe when we returned home indicated about double the reccomended toe in setting. The engineers at the Elise tech session made it clear that the car was set up for a very average driver with limited car control skill. So, I'll be working on camber issues this winter. Regards, Ron

I have the whole document, the rest of it is mostly installation instructions, but I will try to scan it and post it when I get back home.

I have build number 001. It was the proto type from the Lotus sports division. the people at Lotus sent me documentation of it purpose and history from the Lotus factory to Lotus sports division and why it was built. It carries the custom number plate on the lower left footwell. Shes a trackstar now. enjoy the photo.

what's with the red? I thought they were all yellow and #001 was sold by HRM and the pictures were clearly of a yellow Elise Sport with STi stripes?! I'm confused...
A:
All I know is the build number on mine is 001. It was sold to me by HRM. Dont know the answer to the mystery.
