I am trying to decide whether to get CF or exterior color center console...

EDIT: My interior is black and no touring package (no leather), so I have one of those manual windows . My exterior color is laser blue.

Just my 2 cents, but be careful about painting too much, specially if you have a brighter color. I think you can easily have too much of a good thing. There is enough interior paint on the door bits and rollbar cover.
I think for me, the surround and console are all I would do. And I only did the console.

I am thinking of center console (including the cup holder) and the AC control surround. I am not sure about HVAC as I thought HVAC is the AC control surround.

The subtle depth of a glossy carbon fiber weave is very attractive. in my opinion. I have my center console, AC surround, and shif knob in CF. I would love to have CF door sills as well, but the only options have been absurdly priced. I'm probably in the minority, but I'm not a fan of painted interior parts, especially if it's a bright color. Too distracting. Keep the exterior paint outside, thank you.

If someone could make a kit that was affordable (under $1000) that included center console, binacle, hvac, door panels and door sills I would be all over it.
As it is you have to mix and match manufacturers, finishes and weaves... sigh.

From my son's halloween costume test fitting last weekend. Shows how the CF console blends with the black interior in a subtle way without being too distracting. I think it's a perfect match with the black leather.

Yeah, I was going to do my console in red, but after installing a red extinguisher I'm thinking that could be too much:

I love my painted console but with a black interior I think CF would look great. All that matters is that you get rid of that ugly grey plastic look.

I have the same shift knob. but on top of the shift knob, it's just exposed bolt, where did you get yours? Does it suppose to have lotus logo on top of the shift knob? can you post close up pics of the knob?
