Thanks, Ara. Running 195/50R16 LTS stock A048's up front and 245/40R17's on the rear.

Allow me to add a "u" to the above statement! Place it wherever you deem appropriate. Wow! Very stealthy.

i again must be the only person who is not a fan of this paint scheme. looks to incomplete for my taste. but if you like it that IS what is important. looks to me like someone ran out of money and is waiting to paint it?

Beauty is in the eye... We did work very hard to come up with a finish that is IMO, light years from "primer." If you google up pics of primered cars, then look side by side, you'll see the difference. You still may not like it, though.

i know what the color is and i even know the process of how to make it look like this but i am just not a fan. BUT i do admire the guts to try something so radical. i would like to paint mine either lambo orange or gallardo green! just a matter of$$$$

Yikes! Just kidding. Actually, while I wouldn't want to own the car with thoses colors, I certainly admire the look of them (if that makes any sense.) We obviously have different tastes, but that's what I love about this car and this community - both encourage individuality and a sense of freedom. When you can have the job done by a quality shop, I say go for it!

Hello,
Pardon my ignorance but, how did you get that colour?
Looks fantastic!
And is your car lowered?
Best regards
Edit: Oh nevermind, I just read myself through the thread and found the link to the "how to do it" thread

Thank you! And no, not an ignorant question at all; as a matter of fact it took quite a bit for myself and Specialty Car Craft to get there. Best thing to do it take a look at this thread, and you can see the process of arriving at the matte.

Yes, on Nitron single adjustables...

Too late. Didn't see the edit

I was actually wondering how a satin hot rod kar finish would look on the Elise ! Pretty nice ! Just please don't tell me that bright orange flames on the front, a racoon tail, and these style wheels are your next mods
A:
... and don't let your children or pets get too close. It's been known to swallow small animals whole!

While I'm still not the biggest fan of the idea (I like bright shiny colors to contrast with the vents) it still looks quite awesome in a stealthy sort of way.
And more importantly than that, you like it, and that's all that really matters

I knew I should have made more of an effort to meet with you while I was in LA, your car looks soooo damn good.
Still met with Jack to pick up the RAC Monolites I bought from him. They looked great! I can't wait to get them on for next season.
Funny, the whole week I was in LA and San Diego didn't see one Elise or Exige. A nice yellow Gallardo pulled up while I was enjoying the view from Yamashiro though.

Wow - you were at Yamashiro, about ten minutes (with traffic) away! ARGH! You just reminded me I was supposed to call Jack and tell him I couldn't make the track day today. He's going to me, and rightfully so. Once I get my head into work, everything else seems to melt away...
Well, let's catch up next time you're in town, and congrats on the Rac's! Let's see some pics!
