A&Q about Lotus
Q:
I'm coming up on my 7500 maintenance due. What is involved in this service, and how much on average does it cost? I also have to have them fix my window that came off track or just won't go up all the way as well as a strong rattle in the driver door.
Also, if the car has to be dropped off, the closest dealership to me is a few hrs away. Does Lotus offer any kind of loaner vehicle? Thanks for any info!

Isn't there a service schedule in the owner's manual?
Your door/window issue sounds like either a loose rear guide rail screw (about a two minute fix) or a loose up-stop lock-nut (about a thirty minute fix). Just in case you can't get to the dealer for a while....

There's a good summary here (click on "Elise (Fed) Maintenance Schedule"):
Whether or not a loaner car is offered will depend on the dealer. Along the same lines, some dealers offer complimentary pickup/drop off of your vehicle for scheduled services like that, though with your dealer being so far away it's probably unlikely.

Yes there is.... but it's formatted in a fashion that I found difficult to understand (call me dense), so I re-formatted it into a way that worked for me and put it in the PDF that others have pointed out on the GGLC website.

That's cool, Dense. Thanks for the effort.
