Read a couple of threads where Elises have been targeted. Who's been vandalised and what did the perp do? If anyone knows why their Elise was targeted, post it here.

Got egged last year. LUckily, two of the three hit the windshield, and the one that hit the paint was a somewhat glancing blow. Still gouged the paint a bit, and I can unfortuntately see it plainly from the driver's seat. The ONE night I left the cover off...have a garage, now...

Been egged a few times. Probably just rich bored kids with nothing to do. It's either that or jealous psychotic ex's of chicks that had been chillen with me.

It wasn't particularly vandalism but the day I bought it I came walking out of the rest stop to find one kid IN the car and another trying to get in the passenger side. Hard top on, windows up (didn't realize it didn't lock), laptop on floor, gps in front window, etc. "We just wanted to get pics in the car" That was what the explained to the state trooper who was arresting them.
It happened again at a restaurant about 2 months ago, this time top off, windows down, alarm blaring for all get-out and two idiot kids taking pics of each other climbing over the door to get in the car. They were lucky not to have scratched anything.
Both cases the kids were about 17-19, and in the first case it was fun compressing his ear to the concrete until the trooper got there while he begged to be let go.
I did have a restaurant manager chase two kids away from the car that I think were only standing next to it, but he didn't want anything happening near 'his place'. Oddly a lot of people who I have never even met are very protective about it.

Mine was spit on. I felt lucky since that was about the least damaging thing someone of that mindset could do.

I got vandalized by my brother a few times as a kid; this one time, he... oh, we're talking about cars? Nevermind!

The worst that ever happened to my Elise was that someone put a cup of beer on the roof outside Vizscaya. No damage.

June 12 or so, with 400 miles on it, asshat breaks passenger mirror and window to get in to steal.....nothing.......I was working late at 2 a.m. and saw it happen in my office parking lot. Alarm scared him off.

Egged. Messed up the paint, chipped it down to the primer. We chased them down and their parents paid.
They had to throw the eggs OVER two other cars to get to the Elise, I guess they picked it because it was the most expensive looking and thought it was funny. Wasn't so funny when they got chased down and ended up nearly wrecking while driving over bump stops in a parking lot and through a bumpy rocky field to trying to evade us. lol
Nor when the police showed up at their house an hour later.

They gave us a median of the estimates, roughly $4000.

Yeah, mine was hit with a loogie too, I was inside paying for gas and walked out to see a couple of rednecks in a beat up pickup speeding off. Also, people lean over the windows to look in if you don't have the top on and usually throw the the windows off track.

Yesterday the car was parked on our showroom. Our store is dog-friendly. Well our tenant next-door stopped in with his dog. Dog lifted leg on front grill. Does this count?

front nose badge was ripped off. lifted the starshield off as well. was parked in the garage area at one of the nicer malls in the area.

The Exige gets the garage space. I can count the number of nights it's been parked outside on both hands and maybe a foot. Guess I need to go to more track days.
When Helena had her 2000 Beetle, someone egged last year it while it was in the driveway.

Cover removed and passenger side mirror broken. The housing was pushed all the way forward past the normal stop point as if someone had given it a kick. No other damage that I can see, and the tires are still at pressure.
The car had been sitting covered in an office parking lot, where it's previously spent many evenings and nights unmolested while I work the occasional graveyard shift. I spotted the cover draped over the back as I was passing through the lobby. While I was looking for damage someone walked by and told me he'd found the cover some distance away earlier in the morning and had brought it back to the car. Building management says there's no cameras out there, unfortunately.

it was a frequent occurance that my viper would get spit on at my gym. probably once a week. lots of small minded jealous people in this world. i always chalk it up to owning a nicer car
