I have a cracked windshield and need it replaced. My insurance company, USAA is saying I'll have to pay about $700 out of pocket in ADDITION to my $100 deductable. Dealer did not agree to the "book" figure -25%. Problem is, the insurance company has no bok figure to give! Ideas?

Give a copy of the book figure printout from the dealer to USAA. I have used them...they are pretty good.
Many times you can cut a deal with a glass company on the side and not use insurance. Make sure you trust the glass company though because they can screw up your interior very easily

Just got off the phone with their head glass guy...understood and approved the $250 install and $937 glass.
