Breakfast is included for resort guests (2 meals standard per room, additional guests are extra). There is also a Bunk House which can accommodate individuals looking for a real bargain.
Room Rates are $130 for the cottages/per night (weekday, rates higher if you plan to stay over the weekend)
Bunk House Rates are $40/ per night
Additional rooms are also available on Rome's waterfront at the Hawthorne Suites (roughly 15 minutes away)
"Enjoy a comfortable stay in historic downtown Rome, Georgia. This hotel is a beautifully renovated 1800's building which provides the perfect balance of a historic atmosphere plus modern day conveniences. Our studio, one and two-bedroom suites are all unique. Some suites even feature the original brick walls and wood floors that were standard in the building.
At Hawthorn, we'll provide you with all the amenities to make your stay enjoyable. For your convenience, our lobby is adjacent to several boutique shops including Alex which features the latest in New York style, Bella Luna and Dragon Fly Dreams, as well as both men's and women's salons offering massage therapy and a variety of other services. LODGING UPDATE
Zion Farms called me today to tell me they have rented out all of their cottages for our event. They still do have beds available in the "bunk house" which are substantially less expensive. Otherwise, please look to the Hawthorne Suites in Rome for accommodations.
BTW, I was also told that someone's wife is trailering horses up for the event and will be going riding for the week. Sounds awesome.
A:
Does anyone want to split the costs of a cabin?????
What the heck does the bunkhouse accom. comprise???
Thanks
A:
The bunkhouse has bunks (obviously). Here's a link:
It's about half the cost of the cottages.
A:
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Robert, just talked to zion farms about reserving bunk in the bunkhouse, apparently the person coordinating that isn't there right now. The lady I talked to wasn't aware if the Lotus group had reserved the bunkhouse for us or not, apparently it's reserved for groups of ten or so.
She said she'd call me back. So I guess I'll see.
thanks
A:
Chris, call and talk to Miss. Hayse Avery she is super nice and took care of our reservations a couple months ago real fast.
A:
HI Jeremy,
Yep all the cottages are gone. As I understand the bunkhouse has to be rented by a group, in other words I can't rent one bunk, they have to rent out as a group of ten. II'll probably just end up renting at the hotel.
As it looks now tho, may not make it as I've got a duc club rally the weekend before in n.GA and carolina mountains.
A:
I just ended up getting a room at the Howard Johnson Express Inn in Rome.
A:
MIck,
That's what I'll probably do as well, do you know how far away it is from zion?
A:
Do you think we could get the names of 10 people and stay at the same facility as everyone else? I was lax in my reservations too.
A:
Waiting to hear from Robert or the zion farms deal about that actually, no word yet.
