can you guys spot anything?

A&Q about Lotus

Q:
well i guess i wasn't clear enough in my last post.

If ya'll with sharp eyes can spot anything i should ask the dealer to be attentive to before i pick my baby up that'd be great. As far as i can tell she looks nice and clean. BMW1 spotted that I may want to request the embellisher rings. Anything else?

I'll bring the list of things to look for that i found elsewhere on the board

Also, i requested the re-do on the base interior with red leather. I still have the oportunity to have them do full door panel like the touring pack, but i kinda like the silver panel with red? Any opinions? Something didn't look quite right on the seats and then i noticed the stitching is also different... i can't think of any reason whey they wouldn't just match what was there, which is a little annoying, but i also can't think of any reason i should care. Sometimes it's better to let things alone. Any thought on pluses/minuses of stiching changes? I'd just post the pics if i could, but they're protected or something.

So far i'm really happy about it, but i was thinking something just wasn't quite right about the seats and finally figured it's the stitching. the virtical stitching doesn't angle out at the base of the seat (you can see where the old routing was), and on the factory stitching where the upright and seat bottom come together there's 4 tightly spaced horizontal rows on the bottom, and 4 tightly spaced rows on the back. This has only 2 on bottom and 2 on the back... you can see where the extras were. My inclination is to have it fixed to really match factory because i can't think of any reason they shouldn't have matched it, but at the same time there's such a thing as leaving well enough alone what you don't want messed with twice. Nor can i come up with any real reason to care. Any real reasons to care?

If anybody is in the area and wants to give it a walkaround or sit-in, to check the seats that'd be cool.

Thanks ahead of time.

Just remember the silver on the door panel is plastic and IMO looks much better all covered in leather. I have tried to get rid of most if not all the gray plastic on the inside.

Take a close look at the soft top. Looking at the pic in the truck, it looks pretty spotted up, and I'm not speaking of the beads of water. But while we're on the subject, make sure the trunk is not leaking.

The stitching was straight on the 2005 cars. The 2006 cars have the curve. I see the missing horizontal bars. It would look better if that were fixed. It might be a bit firmer with the extra bars. If left alone I could see that leather getting stretched out. The silver on the doors looks pretty good to me.
