Q: I was wondering who out there has the most miles on his or her Elise or Exige... I met a guy with a BRG/yellow 05 Elise with around 24k or 26k miles, but I didn't know if someone could top that? I've put 4k miles on mine in 5 weeks so am on the way : ) Those of you with higher miles, any issues with anything??

I've got 23,xxx on mine with no issues thus far. Other than the fact that I'm going to be out of warranty a year ahead of schedule, that is.

15,500+ miles (probably 16k now). Picked it up at the end of February. Only problems: One, the odometer is adding too many miles. Two, I didn't get it earlier. Three, I can't remember what it feels like to drive my 'daily drivers' or if their batteries even have enough charge to start... That's about it.

Two more weeks to my 2-year anniversary. Closing in on 28,000 miles. No problems, except that the tires wear out faster than one might wish. And it isn't as much fun to drive the Miata, which has gone for about 20,000 miles over the past two years.

I know there are more miles out there than me, Neil at Sector111 being one. I think he was over 40,000 miles.

Are you limiting it to Federal models only? There was a discussion recently over on SELOC about the older Rover-based Elises with plenty of folks reporting 100K miles or more (180K mentioned in one case).

Mine has over 17K and I bought it July 1st of last year.

Loki was at 36k miles and some 40+ track days a couple of months ago.
I've done 18.5k miles in 11 months myself.

Just broke 7K in 4 months. After 1 parallel parking incident, 1 screw in the tire, and 3 tickets later the Elise is going strong. I need to pray for more rainy days or snow because I'm on pace to put 28K on it the first year.
Suffice to say, I'm still gonna driver her and neglect my 2 other cars because I can't take this stupid grin off my face.

50,702 Miles. Not adding them up like I was. I have to share some time with the 2002 Esprit and the 1990 Esprit. When I get the Europa running again then the mileage on all the cars will be a lot less... at least per capita.
