A&Q about Lotus
Q:
Well I stopped by a TVR/Land Rover/Lotus Dealership yesterday in London and grabbed some pics I thought you might like of the Europa.
A:

I was in Bristol, UK a few weeks back and took these shots at the Lotus dealer.
Sticker shows 34,540 GBP.
Nice looking car, looks better in real life.

I never realized how awkward that rear spoiler is from the factory shots. The center crease is an interesting touch.
A:
Front looks ok but man I can't get excited about the rear end.
A:
looks kinda like a Gen II mr2 to me?!!?!
A:
Is this a new model or an Elise replacement?

Lots and lots of threads on this.
Start here:
A:
look like a 93 mr2
also notice the bolt pattern on the lugs is 5X100 instead of 4X100!
A:
What's the part number for the chrome air vent rings?
mmmmm
EDIT: I also want to know where to get the CF weave flooring in the top series of pictures... outstanding!

5x100? sounds pretty odd..

5x110 actually. GM bolt pattern. Offsets still quite wonky though..
Bye, Arno.

You should know the answer to that - it's the same when asked about any Lotus model: "No, no way, uh-uh, never ever."
Seriously though, I kind of doubt it. This was an extra model they got left on their doorstep. It likely isn't selling in very high volumes over there, and they would expect even less over here. So it really probably isn't worth the effort.
A:
IIRC, this week's Fifth Gear (with Jason Plato testing the car somewhat unfavorably) said something along the lines of 500 produced annually.

Brian,
No indication has been given to that direction. It is more likely that we will see the new "mid range" car coming the end of 2008. This new car will likely replace the Europa when everything is said and done. I would look to see many of the Europa finish upgrades to make their way here in future Elise and Exige variations.
A:
looks like a mitsu 3000gt, new mustang, and an elise had a threesome

The car is registered so its either secondhand or a demonstrator.
A:
If the interior looks anything like the new Europa, I predict owners of the mid-range car will rip out their carpeting to expose the chassis.
