Please help! I just dropped of my car a few minutes ago to have a upgraded Alpine head unit intalled and....
The installers at my local shop are telling me they can't promise they will be able to run the Ipod cable. I've seen several members do this already so I know it can be done...they said they would refuse to drill through any part of the metal on the car.
Can the IPOD CABLE be ran to the left or right side of the car without drilling?
If so, how's it done???

yes it can be ran without drilling, i ran it down the driver side door sill so it's right near my leg, this way i won't lose the cubby space. It's held w/ velcro

I had mine ran right to the litle compartment to the left of the steering wheel in above the door sill no drilling at all works great

Thanks everyone for your quick replys - ETalk is awesome! They got the new Alpine unit installed (cda-9856) and Ipod cable ran to the passenger side "hidden compartment" and secured with industral velcro! Functions and sounds much better than stock! Now I've got 5 days of mp3s on tap!
