On a side note, was this east or west baltimore? was the grassy knoll a city/county/state maintained road? or private property? I have done some dumb shii in a parking lot before and the judge threw it out no attorney needed because it was private property.

Oh and that continuance/cop not showing up, that hasn't worked in a long time...
Take a look at post #64

As if this thread hasn't been hijacked to death. I'll get pics up as soon as I get the car back. Like I said, Steve over at Specialty Car Craft is being such a perfectionist about this and coming up with new ideas every day, which is great and something the adult in me (1%) appreciates. The kid in me (99%) is climbing the walls. When I went over to look at the car today, it was back in the paint room, completely taped up. Why? Steve wasn't happy with the way the frame around the windshield looked stock. I thought it looked fine, but fine isn't good enough for Steve, so he ordered it painted matching matte black. I have to say, he was right. Don't know why I ever fought that one. But you get the idea. That car isn't leaving until the artist says it is, and seriously, I respect that.
That being said, if I don't feel some 1G cornering soon, my neck muscles will atrophy back to my pre-Lotus days.

LOL @ Serebo and Exigent.
Yes I attended Gilman and graduated '99. Nope Gilman never came up, but my lawyer did state I was a Maryland Alumni.
Lol, Jimmy did do some arse kissing, when my name was called up he did say "good morning your honor it's good to see you again." LOL! Suffice to say the judge did excuse us with "good bye Jimmy." He was not on first name basis with any other lawyers there. Man I would've never found him or Ed MacVaugh unless your referrals. I can't say thanks enough.
Exigent, when you gave me those names of lawyers I set my mind on Ed, and as a matter of fact I scheduled an appointment with him 3 days after my citations. Well, the day I set my appointment I ran into Jimmy Psoras's sister at my friends restaurant. She overheard me and referred me to her brother Jimmy. I was like , I'm going with Ed.....he's a car guy and we had a awsome conversation over the phone. But I had nothing to do that day and I was like what the hell, lets go see this guy Jimmy. As soon as I pull up to their firm I see like 8 lawyer's names and one of them was Ed MacVaugh's.
So I'm like sweet, this is just good luck. I go in and Jimmy see's me w/o an appointment since little 'sis sent me there and as soon as I say "It was in a Lotus Elise" we're outside looking at my car and revving it up. LOL, on our way out(Jimmy, his father Dennis and I) Jimmy yells upstairs to Ed "hey Ed! Come check out this Lotus", LOL. They have a really laid back atmosphere, but ironically enough I never even got to meet Ed MacVaugh. Jimmy agreed to represent me right then and there. Trust me Exigent, I would've gone with Ed if it wasn't for these weierd circumstances.
Phew! Am I glad this sh!t is over. I'm putting the Lotus on lock-down untill I get a Valentine.

This is totally inappriopriate for me to say, eventhough only a handfull of us live in MD area I can't answer your question. All I can say is.......it was cheaper than having to pay my fines had I been found guilty and dealing with hiked insurance premiums.

Things are about to get a whole lot worse in Maryland when the Montgomery County speed cameras start their campaign of automated thievery. You won't be able to fight them in a real court anymore.
Unlike DC scamera tickets, you probably can't ignore them, either.

Well, I read this thread from beginning to end. It was entertaining to say the least. Almost as good as Perry Mason.

you weren't running in San Jose. Here cops just shoot you in the back.

ah, the maryland justice system.
I was in arundel county court earlier this month, 72 in a 25 (i was late for a buddy's wedding). My fine was cut into 1/4, $180, but it was hilarious when the judge said grey '06 lotus. The place went quiet, and the cops we're just itching to find me again. If you have a grey lotus, avoid Anne Arundel County!
good news on the trial though. i swear, we're cop magnets.
