A&Q about Lotus

Just thought I would post what the cars our local dealer (Memphis,TN) has left in case someone is looking for a specific car / options. My only affiliation with these guys is as a customer and have only nice things to say about them and Dustin Smith their lead Lotus salesman. If you see one you like a call to Dustin might be all it takes as the deals he has on these are pretty nice (I almost got the white one but had to have Laser Blue ).

Have you used the service department of this dealer? Whats the dealership like?

The dealership carries several marques from Hyundai to Porsche and has several locations. The Lotus part of the dealership is at the same location as the VW, Porsche, Audi segment of their dealership network and has several "car guy" salespeople who work there. These guys are like many of us and enjoy driving cars as much or more than they love the commission checks off selling them
My dealings with their service department are quite dated as the last time I used them was in the late 90s when I had a 911SC. I have heard a few local Lotus owners say good things about them but I will not be able to get a real opinion till I deal with them for my first service. Once I do I will post my findings here.

Great service and great all around dealer. I have bought at least 10 cars, mostly Porsches, from these guys since 1998 (perhaps more as I have lost count). Dustin is a great person to deal with and he checks this forum out from time to time. He probably would respond to any inquiries you had in this message.
They have a guy dedicated to Lotus service and there are not many Lotus on the roads of Memphis so service is immediate. The Porsche service department is also top notch and professional. Andy in Porsche service answers hello Doug before I even speak as he recognizes my number from caller ID. I think this is very personable. The staff at Gossett from General manager to finance are a great group of people who are friendly, honest and easy to work with.
