after huge delays. (due to Europa production, yeah.)
Remaining 05 stock is finally off dealer lots.
June 2008...a posting from a member who's
recently gotten their "Ardent Infrared" model 07
They can only find it in a parking lot by setting off the
alarm or ramming it with an SUV.
July 08 posting "Bumper fell off! WTF?"
August 2008 Sector 111 starts shipping Darth Flagholder,
a flagpole that attached to the rear someplace,
with a little Lotus logo flag in CO at SUV mirror
height. In fine print, it reads "Don't tread on me."
November 2008--Lotus announces they are dropping
all support for the Elise line including parts, to
"focus on our core business strengths." Whatever
that means. Some say it is due to the new
parent company (Toy... something)
pressure as the Elise would compete
with the 2009 Supra and MR....
December 2008 The Lotus badged Cozy Coupe is
released by Little Tikes.
