I have the Larini Silenced De-Cat Pipe on the car now... but I am seriously thinking about going to the straight pipe if so my silenced pipe will be for sale. Unless one of the sector111 employees picks it up first... hint, hint Peter

Impressive video.

But it would have been much better if the drivers were good enough to have stayed in their lane and not crossed the double yellow. I get sick and tired of encountering Suva's crossing into my lane on every twisty road I go on, there is no excuse for great handling sports cars to be doing the crossing.

Sorry, but that alone cancels any good impression that the video may have made on me...

i must say WOW!

Sorry for that misstep. I agree with you but ocassionally an unintentional breach of the double yellow rule takes place - even with the best drivers...I hope you can forgive us.

Sometimes I feel the Little Bastard in me come out... but I must stay professional

If any of you watch Saturday Night Live you might know who Debbie Downer is. Some have the ability to take a good, fun thread and bring it down

Loved it. I also liked the meerkats "WTF?" captions! Nicely done.

oh my, do you stop at every stop sign and look both ways? stop at every yellow light?

and you probably drive 65 on the freeway in the #1 lane too.... then get mad if people pass you....

classic

nice. my only problem was that the scenes are flashing by so quickly I never get a good look at the cars or long enough listen to those sweet exhaust notes.

shinoo, it was nice meeting you at the Concorso.

keep up the good work y'all.

Originally Posted by peteinsd oh my, do you stop at every stop sign and look both ways? stop at every yellow light? Yes, as a matter of fact, yes I do. Full and complete stop at every stop sign, that way if I'm ever sighted for that I can stand up in court and truthful say "I always come to a complete and full stop". Besides, I was pretty much forced to give up motorcycle riding because of all the idiots that never came to a stop and just kept rolling - you never knew if they had actually seen you or not, and it became a bit nerve racking. As for yellow lights, yes if I can safely stop, I do - don't you?

and you probably drive 65 on the freeway in the #1 lane too.... then get mad if people pass you.... I usually travel at the fast end of the flow of traffic. I love it when people pass me - then I have a "rabbit" for the cops to get instead of me.

As I said, it is an impressive video, that is very well done.

But it includes poor driving.

When you drive fast on a curvy road, do you cross over onto the dirt shoulders? Of course not, you use enough car control to keep it on the pavement. They why can't everyone keep their car in their lane? Just "imagine" that the road drops off into the dirt at the yellow line, and keep your car on your side of the road. If you can't do that, then you are simply a lousy driver. Play racer all you want, but do it in your half of the road.

Ever come around a curve on a twisty road and find a car/SUV over the yellow line, partly in your lane? Did you like that? Then why is it acceptable for you to cross over the yellow line when you want to?

Bottom line is that it is almost never acceptable to cross that yellow line while driving on public roads - especially on curves. Make fun of me all you want, but I at least keep my car in my lane at all times.

Well, not in my Elise, but....

it is in fact the correct way to drive some cars.

Feel free to starting a new thread on driving on mountain roads, double yellow line etc. But please stop stinking up our thread.

Thanks in advance

Thanks. Hopefully we will be doing more of these short films... We learned a lot from doing this one.

Shared your movie with some friends of mine, will probably see it popping
up on some other forums. The images and the sounds really catch the essence of the car. Plus, my car must sound nearly as bad-ass as yours!
(similar set-up) Cool! Keep 'em coming!

Hey, I'll be the first to say I love the video. But Tim has a valid point. Why is it that people get so defensive when others have something negative to say about their thread? Why not let the video rest on its own merrit? Yes, it is a cool video, and yes the drivers should stay on their side of the road.

And yes, some viewers might like to point it out that crossing the yellow line is dumb. So be it. Once you suffer a loss because of someone else's carelessness you might understand better. In the mean time, stick it out, stand up for your great video, and accept the criticism openly.
