Has anybody with track experience driven a Lotus with limited slip on the track? Is it better with LSD or without? I heard they changed it for 07. Anybody know what is different?

I did for the first time yesterday, I thought the LSD was great but ended up turning off the TC. I havn't driven one without LSD on track though so I can't compare.

There have been quite a few discussions about this. I have tracked my car without LSD and with LSD. There is no one single answer. At Buttonwillow, there were two turns that I would experience inside rear wheel spin and would have to modulate throttle. With the LSD, I could plant my right foot.
As far as the induced understeer in a sweeper, I can't really tell, but then my car is not really stock anymore.
Since I use my car for autox more than track, the LSD makes sense for me.

the hallucinations certainly affected my spatial judgment. it was better when i came down off the trip.
