I totally agree. Thank God is not a Lotus. That's not the kind of association I want folk to make with my car.

That was not the car im talking about, this one did not have a parkbench (spoiler) on the back of it. My friend next to me who does not even own a lotus saw it too. I Saw letters on the back of a car. Im going to see x-men 3 again and I will post and try to take a video bootleg of it..=]

Very glad it's not a Lotus.
2 Fast 2 Furious was on Fox last night.
Like I needed to be reminded that they chose to destroy several cool cars in that movie. I am sure the Lotus would have met the same fate.

Black guy from movie trailer: "The cars is light, tires is slick, when you drif if u aint outta control u aint in control"
So therefore: Elise = lightweight, tires = Yoko A048 (almost slicks)... I think we have an awesome drift car!!!

Watched the first ten minutes of F&F last night, boy LAME with all capitals.

Can we start a petition to NOT have any Loti, especially orange ones in any of this series of movie? I don't care how much faster, or how much furiouser they are, please don't put robot graphics on the side and so much nitrous blowing on the windshield that the floorboard drops off the car or the "welds on the intake blow" haha.

It has been confirmed that our Lotus Elise has a cameo in this film. The car is pictured from the Back and the color is Ardent Red or Bordeux Red.
It looks more like a European 111S the way the pipes are placed.
The Elise is featured when the African American side kick shows his ride at his rotating parking facility. The elevator type/parking facility rotates through the different cars and the second car in the rotation is an elise
The hero and his friend look at each other when they see the elise and then shake their heads and say "No"
I have a screen capture of it but I need to shrink it down and convert it in a JPEG

Fools.

The Elise will be in one of these films, count on it! Who cares---to each his(or her) own!

There has been a misunderstanding. I saw the movie (shamed to admit it) and they weren't dissing the Elise. The sidekick was talking up his car like it was pretty awesome so the hero was expecting to see something special. Each time a cool car scrolled by, the hero would smile and look at him like, "Is this it?!?" and the other guy would shake his head no in a "I wish" manner NOT "no way, that car sucks." So, the hero's face lit up when they showed the Elise which was Ardent not Bordeaux and once again the guy had to shake his head in disappointment. It was a nice moment for our car.
A:
^^^Yup, totally right.

THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS MOVIES MAKE MY PANTS TIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Wow... an appearance in a movie marketed towards "a few IQ points above mentally retarded" 16 year olds. Now the Elise is definitely at the top of the food chain.
A:
Ahh I see. I retract my previous post.

I was watching CSR Miami last night. It was an episode about an exotic chop-shop ring. Sure enough... In the background in a chop-shop scene was a Lotus Elise.

Why do you think I liked the movie so much?
A:
I have an original rare special edition screener DVD made for the oscar comittee thing, dvd of the fast and the furious, only watched once, suitable for the true fan of the series.
I also have the artwork I made in class, taught by the guy who painted the chicks pink car in 2F2F (noah) as well as that freaky looking alpine mini, though i did become enamoured with the splatter head trick using nothing more than a lollipop stick and spent most of the class making splatter effects in black paint on a piece of cardboard, so its outsider art and therefore worth a lot more, its also mostly black.
Start the bidding at say, 5c ?
